Title: Logophile Structure: Toilet Paper Roll Book Dimensions: 5 1/2 x 3 Video of my process. This was the ultimate experience in using recycled items to make art. Who new that toilet paper rolls held so much possibility? I loved every minute of making this book and adore the finished look. It also gave me a chance to use some of my scrapbook papers, my distress inks, and tags that I seem to have hundreds of. The tags were awesome to work with and I found that using the scrapbook papers over the tags reinforces them and makes them a lot more sturdy. And you know I love a sturdy book :-). I must give a huge thank you to Kinda Krafty on YouTube for her photo slide show of her book. That helped me make this one and provided a useful tutorial. Check her video out when you have a sec.
I'm looking forward to next week, as always. Stay tuned! If you're watching the videos, I'm honored! If you're making the books, I'm intrigued, so please share here in the comments or on the Giving Hands Creative Community site.
