Let's Meetup & Make Some Art
From time to time I like to have people over to my studio for creative exploration. Sometimes we meet in person, but most of the time we meet online. That's how Artsy Meetup was born.

What is an artsy meetup?
Me + you + other creatives spending an hour sharing artsy techniques, supplies, and finished projects. Sometimes I'll teach you how to make something (like a handmade journal or visual journaling page) and other times we will simply come together to share and be inspired by one another.
You only need to sign up ONCE below. Then I'll send you reminders and other goodies for each session.

For all meetups I suggest the following supplies/materials:
- Paper of any size 8 1/2 x 11 or larger.
- Anything you can use to make a mark on the page:
- Acrylic Inks -- I am really digging these this month!!
- Watercolors -- These are my favorite inexpensive set and here's my favorite artist quality set.
- Watercolor Crayons -- I love the Caran D'ache Neocolor 2 and these are pretty cool too.
- Colored Pencils or Derwent Inktense blocks or pencils
- Markers and Paint Pens -- I like Sharpies (alcohol based), Tombow (water-based), and Posca Paint Pens and Liquitex (Acrylic Paint Pens). I recently shared my first impressions of the new Sharpie Art Pens on YouTube.
- Oil Pastels - I really LOVE the Portfolios, but here's an inexpensive set, and then a top of the line set. They all have a wonderfully creamy texture and are amazing for blending.
- Rubber Stamps -- an assortment
- Stencils -- I love the ones by StencilGirl Products
- A black permanent pen -- my favorite is a black Sharpie or a Gelly Roll by Sakura
- Collage bits and pieces would be fun to bring as well.

Virtual Meetups
The virtual meetups take place using an app called ZOOM.
ZOOM allows us to see one another, share our art, and chat. It gives me the ability to show my art table as I'm creating and guide you through making books, creating mixed media pages, and journaling
You will need the ZOOM app to participate and you can join us from a computer, tablet, or smart phone. CLICK HERE to download the ZOOM app.
