Your Instructor

Jennifer Steidley

Meet Jennifer Steidley: Jennifer is the creator and author of four self-published card decks including the CARTA Award winning Tarot Disassembled. 

​Jennifer has been a graphic designer for over 25 years and has studied and been fascinated by Tarot her entire adult life. An avid deck collector, symbologist and researcher, she delights in exploring the intersections between Tarot and other subjects, as well as doing deep dives into symbolism.

In addition to several other deck projects, Jennifer is currently working on a superpower-themed Tarot deck. She also co-hosts the podcast Keepin' it Symbol. In the LifeAlchemy Academy™ Jennifer teaches in Pull Pen Paint™ and has contributed to The Deck Creator's Mastermind. Be sure to follow Jennifer on Instagram to stay in the loop on her offerings, and future courses.

How This Course Works

This is just an information page. The course content will be housed in our online academy, The LifeAlchemy Academy™ (hosted on the Mighty Network platform). When you are ready to register, click any of the REGISTER NOW buttons on this page and you'll be taken to a sign up/login page. LIVE SESSION -- Friday October 6, 2023

We meet on Friday October 6th for a 3-hour session (3pm to 6pm Central) where Jennifer will guide us through the INTERACTIVE lesson that includes optional breakout rooms for deepening your understanding and personal narrative with the cards.
This session will be recorded and made available to you by 12pm Central on Saturday October 7th. 
You will have access to the replay for 6 months after the live session.

PRIVATE DISCUSSION SPACE

As a participant in this course, you will gain access to a private discussion space where Jennifer will be available to answer questions and respond to your insights and ah-ha's. This space will be available for 6 months after the live session. 

BONUS COURSE

As a member of this course, you also gain access to An Introduction to Tarot for Creatives. This class is packed full of content to help beginner students find their way through the Tarot. Whether you consider yourself a creative or not, this class has lots of fun replays, lessons, and interviews with members of the LifeAlchemy Academy™ and is designed to be an informal connection to the Tarot. 

October 6th and Beyond

Once we end the live session on October 6th, you'll make your way into the online discussion space where you can be in conversation with other students and Jennifer.

In that space you can share readings where your superhero cards show up and tell us how Jennifer's class has deepened your understanding of the cards and created powerful narratives for your life.

Meet LifeAlchemist, Kiala Givehand

Kiala Givehand, Creator of The LifeAlchemy Academy™

Hello Beautiful Creative You!
I'm happy you're here. I'm Kiala Givehand, a multi-passionate intuitive & intentional creative. I walk through the world as a LifeAlchemist™ for creative, heart-centered, soul-filled women who want to change the world by shining their light more fully and more brightly. I call myself a LifeAlchemist™ because I help women bring together all the parts of themselves to create a life they love. As an Alchemist, I support women through creative and spiritual awakenings and guide them towards empowerment.

As an artist, I make (and sometimes sell) handmade journals using a mix of mediums. I host workshops, retreats and online classes where I get to teach the things that nourish my soul -- bookbinding, journaling, printmaking, creative writing, astrology, Tarot, Human Design, and self-discovery through transformational tools and content.

For almost 20 years, I taught English, Language Arts, and Creative Writing at every educational level, while simultaneously traveling the U.S. delivering workshops and presentations to educators. While I no longer travel to work with teachers, I now enjoy working one-on-one and in small groups with students, teachers, artists, writers, and creative entrepreneurs. I do this work because I love helping women find the thing that fills them with joy and watching them pursue it without regrets or apologies.

I cherish every single day and treat life as one amazing adventure. I play with paint and watercolor, fold paper into books, write poetry, short fiction, & creative non-fiction, and guide women through sacred remembering of who they truly are. But always, every single day, I journal and do something that I feel is creative. Oh!! And did I mention that I'm the proud owner of a fabulous collection of fountain pens? (I know. Geek alert!)

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts as soon as you register! Then we spend October 6th together. The content for the class will be available to you for 6 months.

What if I don't know anything about tarot?

We love our beginners which is why the bonus to this class is Intro to Tarot for Creatives. That course will give you a good sense of what Tarot is and how to work with it. Once you sign up for Tarot Saves the Day, you'll gain access to the free course and be able to work with that for 6 months to help you understand Tarot more effectively. 

What if I can't attend any of the live sessions?

Each session is recorded and made available shortly after it ends. You can rewatch as many times as you need to in the 6 months that you have access to the content. However, please keep in mind that the real benefit of this INTERACTIVE class is to be present in real time with the group. This is how you get the most benefit from this course. 

I do not own a Tarot Deck, can i take this class?

Yes! You will see images of the cards on the screen during the presentation, and you can google each card to see it more closely and have access to it longer during the call. However, we encourage you to have a tangible or digital (try a Tarot app) version of the Rider-Waite Smith deck for the readings and activities Jennifer will share.

Do you guarantee that I will understand tarot better after this class?

Absolutely not. We can't guarantee that because at LifeAlchemy Academy, we believe that your understanding of Tarot depends on your willingness to study it, work with it, and learn the symbols. There is also great benefit in honing your intuition. Without these things, your understanding of Tarot will remain surface level. 

What if I am unhappy with the course?

Once you get access to the content of the class, you will not be eligible for a refund. If you are unhappy after the course starts, email me and let's chat. Life getting in the way, or screwing up the time zone are NOT refundable situations. Please purchase the course mindfully.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
