Join Catherine as we explore a number of ways to use pen, paint, color, line and shape with our SoulCollage® cards!

While your "success" with SoulCollage® is not dependent on being artistic, there are many who come to SoulCollage® from their creative practice and find it to be a beautiful and empowering exploration into the Soul. 

ABOUT SoulCollage®
SoulCollage® is an easy, non-threatening process which allows you to access your inner wisdom and create art at the same time.  Catherine loves creating a sacred space around the class and does this by incorporating poetry and music into her workshops.  She believes that in this fast-paced world the practice of SoulCollage® is a perfect way to slow down and spend time getting to know yourself. SoulCollage® can also be a form of visual meditation, and is used in many different settings.

Your Facilitator

Catherine Anderson, SoulCollage® Facilitator & Trainer

In 2004 Catherine trained as a SoulCollage® Facilitator with Seena Frost, the creator of the SoulCollage® process and author of the book SoulCollage® Evolving, and has been a SoulCollage® Facilitator Trainer since 2012, teaching others how to facilitate this intuitive collage process.  Her experiences with the labyrinth led her to train with Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress in 2009 and she is  now on the faculty of Veriditas and offers Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Trainings and workshops. 

She is a graduate of the Haden Institute Spiritual Direction Training and uses these skills in her retreats and pilgrimages and combines all of her passions in her workshops, combining them in creative ways to encourage participants to gain new perspectives about their own creative journey.

In addition to her work in the US, she leads photography and creativity retreats and workshops in South Africa, France, Italy, Portugal, Mexico, and beyond.

This was a live/virtual workshop held on Zoom. Now you can access it by being a member of the SoulSeeds™ Membership. When you click any of the buttons on this page, you will be taken to a page that provides you with lots of info about the SoulSeeds™ Membership.

SUGGESTED SUPPLIES

Please don't go out and buy anything you don't already have until after the class!

• A couple of blank 5x8 inch cardstock - either white or colored
• A thin, a medium and a thick Sharpie pen
• Posca Markers if you have them
• Watercolor paints or watercolor pencils or similar
• A couple of circular items of different sizes to trace around (that fit onto a 5x8 card)
• Any old geli prints or paintings you are happy to cut up
• A couple of stencils you might have in your stash
• Fine grade steel wool (0000)

Meet LifeAlchemist, Kiala Givehand

Kiala Givehand, Creator of The LifeAlchemy Academy™

Hello Beautiful Creative You!
I'm happy you're here. I'm Kiala Givehand, a multi-passionate intuitive & intentional creative. I walk through the world as a LifeAlchemist™ for creative, heart-centered, soul-filled women who want to change the world by shining their light more fully and more brightly. I call myself a LifeAlchemist™ because I help women bring together all the parts of themselves to create a life they love. As an Alchemist, I support women through creative and spiritual awakenings and guide them towards empowerment.

As an artist, I make (and sometimes sell) handmade journals using a mix of mediums. I host workshops, retreats and online classes where I get to teach the things that nourish my soul -- bookbinding, journaling, printmaking, creative writing, astrology, Tarot, Human Design, and self-discovery through transformational tools and content.

For almost 20 years, I taught English, Language Arts, and Creative Writing at every educational level, while simultaneously traveling the U.S. delivering workshops and presentations to educators. While I no longer travel to work with teachers, I now enjoy working one-on-one and in small groups with students, teachers, artists, writers, and creative entrepreneurs. I do this work because I love helping women find the thing that fills them with joy and watching them pursue it without regrets or apologies.

I cherish every single day and treat life as one amazing adventure. I play with paint and watercolor, fold paper into books, write poetry, short fiction, & creative non-fiction, and guide women through sacred remembering of who they truly are. But always, every single day, I journal and do something that I feel is creative. Oh!! And did I mention that I'm the proud owner of a fabulous collection of fountain pens? (I know. Geek alert!)

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the Course start and finish?

The live session was originally held via Zoom on January 28, 2024 from 12pm to 1:30pm Central. It is now a reply in the SoulSeeds™ Membership. 

What if I am not a mixed media artist?

That's okay. SoulCollage® doesn't require you to identify as an artist.  Just come as you are and learn and grow. 

What if I can't attend the live session?

The session is recorded and made available shortly after it ends. You can rewatch as many times as you need to while the content is available to you. 

What if I don't have any soulcollage® cards? 

You are welcomed here. Come on in. If you are curious and open, you're in the right place. We do suggest taking an Introduction to SoulCollage®. Kiala offers several throughout the year. CLICK HERE to see when the next one will happen. 

What if i don't have the supplies?

You don't need all the supplies that Catherine uses or suggests. You can absolutely make do with what you have, watch the session, then go out and buy what you want to use. 

What if I am unhappy with the Course?

Once the live sessions happens, you will not be eligible for a refund. If you are unhappy after taking the class, email me (Kiala) and let's chat. Life getting in the way, or screwing up the time zone are NOT refundable situations. Please purchase mindfully.
