Favs: Spray Inks
As a mixed media book artist, I love things that are easy to use. Spray inks are super easy. You just point and spray. Some of them are permanent and others move around after you spray them because they aren't waterproof. I love working with them equally. I also like to make my own sprays using acrylic paints and water!!! Here are my four favorite store bought brands.
Fodder: Pinterest Boards
I recently fell in love with Pinterest because I found some amazing mixed media work there and I've been a pinning fool ever since. Here are three of my boards that you might consider for mixed media fodder. Do you have pinterest boards that you want to share? Leave me links in the comment section.
Follows: Spotify Playlists
Okay so it's likely that I'm super late to the Spotify party, but now that I'm here I'm dancing like no one's watching. If you don't know Spotify -- and you love music -- go check it out -- www.spotify.com -- it's a great way to create playlists without having to buy the music, AND you can share/follow the playlists of others. Here are two that I'm suggesting (because I'm new to Spotify and I only have two to suggest :-):
1. My playlist called creative fuel -- I'm kgivehand on Spotify.
2. The Mabel Magazine playlist -- look for Mabel Mag on Spotify.
If you're on Spotify, leave your username in the comment section (if you're comfortable doing that) so I can follow you. I'm always looking for good music.
When I started Giving Hands Creative it was because I wanted to work with artists, writers, teachers, and creative entrepreneurs who were trying to do positive things in the world. Folks who were hoping to ignite positive change by empowering others to be their most creative and live their best lives. And I've had the pleasure of working with some AMAZING people.
I've worked with artists who paint, make handmade books, and do printmaking. Photographers, fiction writers, poets, and memoirists. Teachers who want to shape the future of education by providing uplifting content that does more than prepare students for the test. And absolutely I work with some fantastic creative entrepreneurs who have allowed me to work beside them and to guide them towards realizing their deepest desires and doing what they love.
One of the things I do is help these folks do what they love while making a living (if that is their desire). And to that end, I recently unveiled my new 6-week INTENSIVE program called Design • Develop • Deliver where I show people how to take their passions, talents, and gifts and create an effective (and lucrative) e-course that allows them to share their unique skills with the world.
An invitation to you...
The program starts on July 14th and I'm excited to be working with some amazing folks who are going to bring their passions to the world by using my process and guidance to get their e-course launched and ready for enrollment. I can't wait to support them and eventually share them with you.
So this is an OFFICIAL INVITATION from me to YOU -- I know you are creative, artistic, and passionate about what you love and do, AND I know you have gifts and talents to share with the world. So my question is -- WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Do you need help getting clear about your passions and gifts? Or are you clear on what you have to offer but you're not sure where to begin or how to move forward? Let's start with some one-on-one coaching.
Are you clear on your passions and you've started to share them, and you're doing pretty well, but you're ready to add additional income streams or other ways to share your gifts? Then the Design • Develop • Deliver program is the program for you. You'll work with me and future e-course leaders for 6-weeks as I share a step-by-step process to get your course designed, developed, and delivered to your perfect participants.
I really want you to stop holding onto your gifts because of fear. Come work with me and let's bring you out of the shadows. SIGN UP TODAY!!!!
Get more information here and of course email me if you have questions or you can attend the FINAL FREE LIVE webinar on Friday July 11th at 2PM PST -- sign up for the webinar today.
