I am absolutely excited to invite you to join me and 12 of my artsy sisters for The Art of Sisterhood Online Course hosted by the fabulous Kara Bullock! The theme this year is RISE ABOVE...SHINE YOUR LIGHT and I can't wait to spend time with you, my sister, as we Embrace, Empower, and Emerge through a creative experience. The Art of SisterhoodI said yes to Kara when she said that this course was all about connecting more deeply with other women in a positive (and creative) way. That was a no brainer for me because most of the work I do in the world is about empowering other women. I love to think of you all as my sisters in creativity. I love that we can play together online from all over the world while elevating our creative practice and supporting each other along the way. What a treat!!! The class consists of lessons, challenges, community conversations, and of course lots and lots of creative inspiration. The other teachers Jennifer Albin, Jennifer Bonneteau, Denise Braun, Sara Burch, Jackie Barragan, Tamara Laporte, Diana Mayorga Vogel, Ivette Newport, Lauren Rudolph, Tiare Smith Woods, Muriel Stegers, and of course, our lovely organizer Kara Bullock have so much goodness planned that my mouth is already watering and my art supplies are ready! Won't you join us? Registration officially opens on February 19th, so be sure to BOOKMARK THIS PAGE for easy access the day that Early Bird Registration opens. Sisterhood means listening and supporting unconditionally. It took over 20 years to repair the damage our family did but me and my big sister are closer than ever. Would love to in this class!

Oh, I forgot to say I shared, tweeted, instagramed and commented. But I'll admit I didn't tag the Instagram because I don't know how! I don't own a cellphone either. hehe but I can paint! :)

I lost my only sister when I was 16 she was 26. Always have a sisterhood void that needs to be filled with, loving, caring and sharing.

Sisterhoods means to me being able to be myself, to express myseld, and be loved and acceptes. I didn't grow up with very loving and caring rolemodels, so being a woman has always been at least a mixed pleasure. Sisterhood helps me to restore my faith in woman. TAOS last year was very healing.

I discovered the meaning of sisterhood when I joined the amazing art community online. It blew up my mind. I connect with so many beautiful souls everyday that makes me feel I have so many soul sisters.

Sisterhood means supporting, respecting and honoring each other no matter what. It's about walking hand in hand through the celebrations as well as the hardships...no matter what.

What does Sisterhood mean to me.. its kind of like a life line. Its a warm cozy safe place where someone else feels the same things as me, its a place to share, to up lift, to gather and to be free to share things in a safe non judgemental way. I really need a Sisterhood!

Sisterhood - the gift of sisterhood is so multi-layered as I am blessed to have sisters who are dear intimate friends as well as a circle of friends who are like sisters - they all provide great meaning, support, love and I am deeply appreciated of the connection and bond of sisterhood!

Sisterhood is one of the most precious gift I have received. To be held with compassion, to be loved for who I am and in turn, to be given the opportunity to witness and love. Thank you dear Kiala for this chance to win this amazing class. Much love to you

Sisterhood means so much to me. I did not have a blood sister and so Friends I have met throughout the years at school, on the job, at church and at various art retreats have allowed me to develop a sisters who have been with me through good times and bad. I would love to be able to continue being a sister to others through art and sharing. Thank you Kiala for a chance to win this class.

Sisterhood is being able to go 2 days or a month without seeing each other, and the bond between isn't diminished.

I would really love to be a part of this, as I have faced SO MANY challenges in becoming what it is I feel is truly what I need to be, an artist and a teacher. I feel that sisterhood is everything and without the women that I’ve met I would be nowhere. But I have made small progress towards my vision of who I am, but it wouldn’t of happened without you Kiala and without Tam or Effy Wild or Jane Davenport. I feel as though you’re all my sisters and I hope to keep it that way forever!
