Jennifer Lee Interviews Megan Auman SPOTLIGHT ON SARAH STEVENSON On day 4 of the summit, Jenn interviewed Megan Auman (Designing an MBA) and they talked about pricing for profit and letting go of perfectionism. It was a fast-paced, hard hitting interview with a ton of information packed in. This is one of the ones I'll be watching on the reply two or three times. I got some amazing insights from Megan about allowing time for your business to grow. And, like always, I received some wonderful validation that my way of working (putting in a lot of hours when you want to and taking time off when you need to) is not strange or odd (hint: Megan works like that too). Megan's no nonsense style is definitely one I'm loving and if her online classes are the same, I can only imagine how inspired her students must feel. Then we got to see Jenn chat with Sarah Stevenson (creator of Create Explore Discover). You all remember Sarah from the Mixed Media Inspiration Deck Blog Hop, right? She created a lovely piece using the deck. In my blog post about Sarah I mentioned how I'm super inspired by the work she does in her art, her photography, and her business. She really does rock and the spotlight was amazing because not only did she talk about the upcoming Create Explore Discover retreat, she demonstrated what it means to be a mom and a business owner. It was a fascinating time. Jenn Interviews Vivienne McMaster SPOTLIGHT ON BINDI SHAH Day 5 left me on a mission to incorporate MORE self-care and compassion towards self into my daily routine. Vivienne is the creator of Be Your Own Beloved -- a self-portraiture course designed to help you see yourself with kindness. She talked about how she came to create the class that has since become a revolution (my word, not hers). I just fell in love with her and can't wait to have my photo taken by her later this year as a "Shooting Star" in Jenn's mentorship circle. Next we got to meet Bindi Shah -- which was perfect since we were already talking about self-care and compassion -- that's Bindi's specialty. Her meditations and Heal Thyself program are designed to help folks incorporate ease into their lives. She pulls from her personal past to help others have a better future. Talk about inspired action. Okay. If you still haven't signed up for the summit, there's one more week of interviews and spotlights (I'm on the 17th). You should join us if you're thinking of starting a biz or you have a biz you want to grow. The information you get from these experts and spotlights is invaluable. I'll see you there.
