Title: Pocket Change Structure: Tyvek Wallet Dimensions: 3 ¾ x 3 Video of the process. YES!!! I made a book using tyvek and I LOVE it. I mention in the video that I had forgotten how much I adore working with tyvek. It's slippery before it's painted, but that's also what makes acrylic paint work so beautifully on it. My goal with this book was to explore how we view money and how money filters into so many other areas of our lives. I'm happy with the way the book turned out and the pieces I added to the wallet (money and credit cards) were fun to make. I used lots of great supplies like metallic Sharpie pens and old hotel key cards. This is definitely one that I think I will edition next year. Of course I have to think a lot about each element of the book before I can create an edition, but I've got time -- right? Right!
I'm looking forward to what next week brings. Stay tuned! If you're watching the videos, I'm honored! If you're making the books, I'm intrigued, so please share here or on the Giving Hands Creative Community site.
