It's BACK!!!!!! I'm thrilled to announce year three of Pull Pen Paint: Exploring Intuition, Imagination, and Imagery. If you've been around here long, you know that this class is near and dear to my heart. It's one of the classes that I hoped someone else would offer, but never saw it happening, so I reached out to some of my pals and favorite online people and we built a beautiful community with love, light, and lessons on how to tap into that which makes us magical. This year I've gather 16 of my favs and we just opened the doors for 2019. Here's what I'm looking forward to from this year's line up of teachers. Lessons On IntuitionI've always known I had "gut feelings" about things, but when I was in my 20s I let others convince me that I shouldn't listen to that. I let it get educated out of me and I started relying on my analytical skills instead of my intuitive ones. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!! So I've spent the last 15 years learning to listen and TRUST my inner voice again. All the teachers in this class bring an element of this to the work they do. The last two sessions of Pull Pen Paint have offered lessons on intuitive art, journaling from the gut, sacred self-study using the stars and celestial forces as inspiration, and connecting to the divine feminine as a way to regain our ability to listen and trust ourselves. This year, will be just as wonderful as the teachers prepare to guide us through 12 weeks of new content. LESSONS ON IMAGINATIONOur imagination is one of our superpowers. Most of us lose it as we become adults, or we trade it in for more "mature" pursuits. We stop seeing (and believing in) fairies, unicorns, and other magical beings because the world tells us to. That's how the imagination gets replaced or erased. This class helps you remember what it felt like to be connected to your imagination and helps you find your way back to it now that you are an adult. It can be tough to do, we know, but the teachers in this class are supportive and loving and kind. They are connected to the inner child part of themselves and they help us do the same. Join us and rediscover what makes you infinite. One of my favorite quotes about imagination is... The power of imagination makes us infinite. -- John Muir LESSONS ON IMAGERYYou do know that images are EVERYWHERE and constantly around us. From television to magazines, books, and advertisements (billboard, posters, flyers, product packaging etc.), we are constantly bombarded with images. The thing about images is that they are never just images. There's always some sort of symbolism attached to the image. If we aren't aware of what signs and symbols are embedded in the things we see everyday, then we are likely unaware of the effect it has on us.
This class helps us understand signs, symbols, and images in a way that opens our eyes to our own misconceptions about what's real and what's just propaganda. But aside from that, this class teaches us how we can intentionally use signs, symbols, and images to shift our mindset and manifest goodness into our lives and the world. That is where the power lies!!! The last two sessions of Pull Pen Paint were filled with lessons on understanding, respecting, and embracing imagery as a tool for intuitive strengthening. Yes, this class started with using Tarot and Oracle cards as a part of this practice, but has become so much more than that. Once you learn to access your intuition and imagination, the possibilities are endless. We make art. We pull cards. We journal. We gather. We share. We grow. Join us for a beautiful journey back to your inner wisdom!!!! CLICK HERE to learn more. I hope to see you there.
