Coming home from a two-week trip over three states was a little mind numbing. But alas, I found a way to push through and get the book done. This double scroll was super easy and quick to make. I tried to stay true to the idea of a scroll with original handwritten text, but in the end, that was my least favorite part of the book. But I'm not sweating it, I think it works for the amount of time I had to get it done. When I think of a scroll, I think of the town crier unrolling the scroll and setting forth some decree. That's why I selected the four food rules that my husband and I try to abide by when it comes to our health and the way we eat.
The food rules we follow are: 1. Eat only when hungry. (that 3-meals-a-day thing is bogus) 2. Eat only enough to no longer feel hungry.(portion control is key) 3. Eat only what's meant to be eaten. (real food not processed food) 4. Eat to live, don't live to eat. (our lives should not revolve around food) Now I could break these down even further to explain what we mean by each one and how we actually put these into action, but that's for another time :-). I'm looking forward to what this week brings. Stay tuned! If you're watching the videos, I'm honored! If you're making the books, I'm intrigued, so please share here or on the Giving Hands Creative Community site.
