The first time I visited Sarah's website, I was met with a lovely video of her telling me that I am a magnet for wonderful -- and I believed her. As I browsed each page to see what Sarah was up to in her creative life, there were these amazing words that stood out and spoke to me:

![]() from robenmarie.com You know that moment when you come across an artist and you say, "Yeah! Like that!"? Well that was my exact reaction when I saw Roben-Marie's work in the book Journal It! by Jenny Doh. Of course her artwork was amazing, but it was also her words that inspired me. In the book, she says: "I realized I wanted to offer inspiration to others..." -- that's what struck a chord with me most because when I read it -- I was in the same place in my artistic life and found myself inspired by her words and her art. Fast forward to today...I've taken two online workshops with Roben-Marie and plan to take more in 2014, I follow her blog religiously, and I'm a huge fan of her new product -- ArtPops™ (which I recently used to make a small Coptic stitched book). It's not just her style of creating, but her openness and honesty about her process. I'm also ridiculously inspired by her use of what she calls, "rule-breaking color combinations". Following Roben-Marie and learning from her has really pushed me out of my art comfort zone. She makes collage look effortless and she does things with a sewing machine that gave me the courage to try sewing on paper for Book-in-a-Day #8 ---Gratitude 365--and I'm NEVER looking back. Roben-Marie's teaching style is a lot like her artistic style -- open, colorful, playful, and full of inspiration. She walks you through the process while talking you through her decision making for each piece she creates. Her classes are some of the best I've taken (and I've taken quite a few :-).
Oh!!! And then there's the fact that she's a Florida gal!!!! Of course that sealed the deal for me since I'm a native Floridian transplanted to California. So you can probably imagine how spectacular it was to have Roben-Marie join the blog hop. Seriously, she's right in the middle of launching her own product (ArtPops™) and she still agreed to join the hop and do a video of her process with the Mixed Media Inspiration Deck™ -- check out her video here. Okay!!! You have until the 9th to check out her blog post for the hop and leave a comment if you want to win your own Mixed Media Inspiration Deck™ -- while you're there, go ahead and sign up for her newsletter and follow her in all the cyber-spots. And make sure you join me on the 10th for the MASSIVE give-a-way that includes a seat in one of Roben-Marie's new 2014 courses (you'll likely see me there too). Make sure you're in all the right places so you get entered into the giveaway. Here's what you should/could do...
